Masculine Noun, Vocative Case – example: Pan Kazimierz – Panie Kazimierzu
Back to Masculine Nouns Case Inflection chart

This scene comes from a comedy “Rejs” (“The Cruise”/”The Trip Down the River”), made in 1970. It’s regarded to be one of Polish cult movies, with plenty memorable dialogues, characters and scenes. There’re some people in Poland who can know all these dialogues by heart.

Extra challenges for commentators:
1. You could transcribe the whole scene…
2. You could make a list of animals (in Polish:) and practise the sounds that they make… (in whatever language you like – animalese, perhaps?)
